Why you love the sport of pentathlon?
I’m never bored and I get to know great people.
When you got involved in pentathlon and why?
I started pentathlon through Pony Club, tetrathlon.
How often do you train (per week or month)?
It depends on my workload at school, but about 3-4 hours a day.
Of the five sports of pentathlon (fencing, swimming, equestrian, shooting and running), which do you consider your best?
Although it isn’t my strongest event, I can see myself pursuing fencing as a hobby when I’m older. Fencing is great because as you get better, you face more interesting challenges.
What are your hobbies?
I love eating good food and shopping.
Do you participate in other sports?
I do events during the summer with my horse.
Are there any other athletes in your family?
My younger brother plays soccer.
Education?
Engineering at Queen’s University.
What career would you like to pursue or are you currently pursuing?
Ultimately, I think I would like to go in to business.

Find a job I like, continue competing in pentathlon as frequently as possible.
What is the greatest challenge you have faced?
Managing school and Pent and being away from home.
In the moments when I doubt that I want to continue, how do I motivate myself?
I try to imagine my life without all the great experiences Pent has given me.
How has being an athlete benefited you (positive effects in your life that you would not have had otherwise)?
I’m healthy, I’ve made some great friends, travelled.
Best movie I have ever seen is?
Downton Abbey is the best.
